Our first store was opened in Traverse City in 1980. There are now six company and one franchised La Senoritas throughout Michigan. Two are in Traverse City and we have one in each of the following cities: Petoskey, Mount Pleasant, Gaylord(franchise), and Lansing.

We have great authentic Mexican cuisine and wonderful giant margaritas. We have a delicious array of sauces for our enchiladas and burritos. We are known for our signature sizzling fajitas that have been basted with our mesquite sauce. There are also nice selections on the menu for those of you who prefer to stay "north of the border." So no matter what your taste is–we have something you’ll love!

We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and service while still being affordable for families. Our entree prices range from $7.29 to $12.99. Monday thru Fridays from 11 am to 2:30 pm we have a $5.49 lunch special. Sundays are "little amigos" day when most children menu items are just 99 cents. Monday thru Thursdays we have great very affordable food specials of the day in the lounge that include chicken wings, burritos, nachos, and burgers. Monday thru Saturday we have two happy hour periods each day with complimentary hors d’ oeuvres. We serve our complete menu until midnight Monday thru Saturday and until 10 pm on Sundays.

Children under 12 can enroll in our Sombrero Sam birthday club and receive a complimentary meal for their birthday. They also receive other mailings thru out the year. For the seniors there is our "senior VIP club" and they also receive a complimentary meal for their birthday. They can also receive a card that allows them a 10% discount every visit.

Large groups, parties, bus tours, and sports teams are always welcome and appreciated. Our managers have a desire to work with you and your group to meet your party needs. We can set up a wonderful fajita buffet, limited menu to fit your budget, or our full dinner menu is always available.

La Senorita is dedicated and committed to our local communities. Many of the managers grew up in the communities their restaurants are located. We pride ourselves on our contributions back to the communities that support us. We have fund-raising programs for non profit organizations where the organization sells $5 La Senorita gift certificates and get to keep $2.50 for each certificate sold. Our employees do payroll deductions along with the company adding funds for our adopt-a-family program. Every Christmas we provide for less fortunate families with the funds collected. The money raised company wide each year is more than $14000.00. We donate 1000's of dollars in gift certificates to area organizations doing fund-raising. We have given thousands of Turkeys to local organizations to provide Thanksgiving dinners, and have also contributed meals to the areas soup kitchens. We participate with school awards programs.
